Enrolment Details
 All students from countries outside of New Zealand or Australia will require a student permit to study at Nelson Aviation College.
This must be applied for at your nearest New Zealand High Commision. They will advise you of the requirements for New Zealand. Please contact your nearest High Commision, Consulate or Embassy to establish your eligibility to attend a course in New Zealand.
Applicants should forward their application to Nelson Aviation College, and where required by immigration, transfer the appropriate course fee to New Zealand. To request an application pack please contact us.
You should complete a New Zealand General Medical to Class One standards prior to enrolling on a course. The New Zealand High Commision will advise you as to your nearest NZCAA approved doctor.
Specialist examinations such as ear, nose, throat and opthalmology reports must be completed in New Zealand. Nelson Aviation College will arrange these for you.
Students will not be accepted without health and travel insurance - proof of this will be required on arrival. Nelson Aviation College will provide insurance if required. A 12-month cover is available at a cost of $456.

Nelson Aviation College requires that student accounts remain in credit at all times. This can be achieved by either paying the full course fee in advance, or by making regular payments. If you decide to pay your fees in instalments, your student permit will only be issued by New Zealand Immigration for the period of each payment.

Refunds
Any student who withdraws from the course before it is completed is entitled to a full refund of fees less any expenses incurred up to the date of withdrawal.
