The college reserves the right to terminate a students tuition:
· If the student fails to pay course fees
· In the event of continued unexplained absences (an attendance of 85% of the total course is required).
· In the event of criminal behaviour by the student either at the college or within the community.
· Due to misconduct e.g. alcohol/drug use
Students will be given the right to appeal any decision made by the college. Decisions will be based on all evidence and information supplied.
NOTE: The college is required to notify The NZ Immigration Service when an international student withdraws.
Consumer Protection Mechanisms
In the unlikely event NAC is unable to complete the delivery of any course, NAC will refund to the student all fees for the undelivered part of the course from the funds in the Public Trust Account. The intent of this mechanism is to protect the students if the Private Training Establishment fails financially.
