Pilot Theory Courses

This is a two day theory course. Your tutor, Mark Woodhouse, Waypoints Aviation is RNZAF trained (Fixed-Wing & Rotary) and currently flys the Boeing 777.

The course is professionally designed to prepare those wishing to complete a basic gas turbine rating. It prepares students thoroughly for the ASL exam that follows on day three. Those individuals who wish to complete the ASL exam at a later date can do so.

This course is offered three times per year and is strongly recommended to all rotary and fixed-wing student pilots who aspire to fly gas turbine machines later in their career.

Course dates:

Tuesday 8th May (exam Friday 11th May)

Tuesday 14th August (exam Friday 17th August)

Tuesday 20th November (exam Friday 23rd November)

Students wishing to complete the exam on the day following the course will need to apply a minimum of three weeks prior to the exam to enable sufficient time for us to book the ASL exam on your behalf.
